why do a lot of people run a strap around the bottom of the lower unit on their gtrs

I've never seen that on a gtr, got a pic? Most people use the trailering bracket that comes with the motor..

In lieu of a trailering bracket. It keeps the motor from bouncing/kicking up on the highway

Sometimes I will stick a bungie on mine to keep it from bouncing
