 Gen 3 prop diffrences When i baught my motor i was running 4650 to 4700 rpms (28mph) and now that i got my valves done and a new prop im running 4450 to 4500 rpms at 27 mph im very confused does anybody have a explination

Re: Gen 3 prop diffrences Make sure you are getting full travel on your throttle linkage, and also make sure your governor is set to 4750.

Re: Gen 3 prop diffrences Why did you get a new prop....was the old one worn badly? That could be your rpm loss.
Edit: Is it the same type prop?
