 Gen 3 prop diffrences
When i baught my motor i was running 4650 to 4700 rpms (28mph) and now that i got my valves done and a new prop im running 4450 to 4500 rpms at 27 mph im very confused does anybody have a explination

Make sure you are getting full travel on your throttle linkage, and also make sure your governor is set to 4750.

Why did you get a new prop....was the old one worn badly? That could be your rpm loss.
Edit: Is it the same type prop?

My old prop was done had 80 hours on it and the new one is the same stock prop

Every prop is a little different. That's why they all need balancing b4 going out.
