 2056 CC build. Almost done
Started on this one last weekend.
2056 Center console All 1/8" 23" sides Full weld in floor/double bottom. Extended front deck with forward dry storage Trolling motor bracket 18" hunt deck 4" Catwalks Spud holes 30" removable back deck.
Boat was built so that the owner could run an outboard or GTR. Longitudinal stingers, with notched in floating cross braces. I've got just a few more hours of some finish up work and I will be ready to hand it over, as the new owner will be rigging and painting himself.

Re: 2056 CC build. Almost done
Ever tried pulsed mig with a push/pull gun? It looks damn near like tig and is super fast.

Yeah I have. Worked for one of the big boat builders years ago running them. They are impressive and your right, you can get damn close to making it look as if it where tig welded. Starts and stops won't quite tie in like tig though, you still have to deal with a little of a cold start. If I had on I'd probably be running it, but I'm just working with what I got

Re: 2056 CC build. Almost done
Dfou,
No worries, you aint jacking up the thread, i welded pipe for a while before doing what I do now, so I never mind talking welding and comparing methods. I've been really impressed with your builds, your turning out some really fine work.
