 Mod???
Yea I know another fukin mod question but couldn't find what I was lookin for with a search. Gonna be my first season for mud bugs with my rig it's a 35 gtr on a 17/54 extrem hull all stock. My question is how many lbs (or sacks) of bugs can I expect to get up on step? Vs how many lbs (or sacks) with what I call a stage one heads, cams, carb and exhaust? Not planning on mods till I'm done fishing but just wondering the difference.

 Re: Mod???
Can't say how many sacks you can haul but I've had 6 grown men including myself with 5 dz decoys and got on a plane stock in my 1848 35 gtr so I'm pretty sure you can go up to 1000lbs

 Re: Mod???
I planed out across the bay fine I'm 220 and about the heaviest so if your boys all got fifty pounds on me then you were pushin alot more weight. Getting stage one will be a world of difference but make sure you get it done by a reputable person

 Re: Mod???
Yea we had a lot of shit in the boat it was packed with all our camping and hunting stuff knew it would never step that load don't think my 60 hp outboard would of lol And as for the mods gonna let the bugs pay for that but I'm stuck between Hoyt ,Callen,or Jamieb mostly because of what I read on here they just sound like they know a thing or two.

 Re: Mod???
If I was to choose between them on headwork, I would go with Jamie B.

 Re: Mod???
I had 35 sacks in the boat Thursday and my stg 1 gator stepped it. If remember correctly, I can step 38 with the stg 1 vs. 25-27 stock on my hull.

 Re: Mod???
Where you from chadbro? Seems like you are getting in the game a lil late this year, specially if you are in the lower spillway
