 Re: 27 HP KAW
I have one I just had a bit of work done (literally just got it reassembled Friday evening). I have to pick up a new starter solenoid tomorrow so I can get it cranked. Murphy decided to show his ugle head as I was finishing up wanting to go to Caddo for the ride Saturday. Once it's running, I'll put it on my boat and let you know the results. I had the heads shaved .036", a valve job done (had loss of compression on both sides), and the stock exhaust gutted and the single outlet is now dual outlets. I plan to put some more work into it in the future, but this was a cheap way to get started. Heads and valve work cost me under $200 by a racing engine shop, muffler another $100 to have gutted. And now whatever I can find the solenoid for tomorrow lol
