 Bow fishing deck build
So I built this deck over a few months thanks to work and so far it is doing well..,I would like to have used aluminum but I still can get it on and off easily with 2 people. I still have few more things to do but wanted to let u all know that with a full load including a gen and 4 people I hit 24 with a new prop on the 18x60 gdsd

I hope you have a dry box for everyone shooting to put thier phones in! cause someone is going overboard for sure Nice build though, i would put some knee high rails at least, just to put a knee against to have some support so its a little harder to go overboard

Rails get in the way. I don't use rails on mine. Just don't drink to much and you'll be fine!

 Re: Bow fishing deck build
Y'all must bowfish deep water. We bowfish in a Max 12" of water so hitting the occasion mud flat stops the boat and a knee bar will def help catch balance back

That's why I put a rail at a 45 ...I have 2 triangle seats that sit on the deck like bass boats have and we just place our foot up ....I actually almost fell out my self....I am still working on some stuff but am defiantly putting a rail in the back near the ladder thanks guys

 Re: Bow fishing deck build
That expanded metal deck is going to piss you off... wait until the first time you drop an arrow and the tip goes through it and you're trying to get it back but the barbs are hung up while looking at the biggest fish you've ever seen in the water...and to hell with any kind of rail all together, just gets in the way and in most cases catches your feet and makes damn sure you go in the drink head first...

 Re: Bow fishing deck build
yep i agree the expanded metal has pissed me off and definitely dont want any rails on the side just near the ladder so kiddos can get up and down and be safe...I am thinking about cutting the metal out and setting in some sheet metal real thin and light
