Had a Suzuki katana 750 , twin mikuni s , from 94-97 . Just paid it off and got hit by a 71 year old women on hwy 44 in Gonzales . Got thrown 40 ft . Haven't been on any bike since. Good lord sent some angels to watch over me that day. . Bruised pretty bad on landing but nothing broken. My father has a couple Harley's and still won't ride to this day.

So sold it and started mud racing 4 wheelers. Now mudboats is my life. Don't see myself ever changing hobbies now.

I havent had one since mine got stolen in college. At school you could bring your bike and parts in, and have the instructors put them on for you for free as a lesson. We use to dyno everyones bike, and everyone who add power commanders and extra hp wrecked shortly after leaving. It got so bad the dyno instructors actually started keeping statistics on it.

Picked up another one Saturday. Moved, new place, figure I could hit the forest for half my commute, went the Dual Purpose route this time. It's pumping 35hp on a single lung 650cc

Yeah, I know the Pledge trick. I wanted the charcoal on black but got a good deal on this one. Those 220's are a tad too small, I wanted a bigger bike since I'll be about 60/40 on/off road. The seat height is 35", it rides tall.

I can touch both toes with it upright but gotta lean to flat foot one leg. I ordered some crash bars because I know there will be that one time where there's a hole or rut right where my foots needs to go and with it weighing in at 432, gravity will be a bitch after a certain point
