L. John reported Peak numbers Time: MiddayWeather: SnowTemp: 10-20 degreesWind: 15-20 mph from Northeast Comments: The migration is here. Thousands of mallards flying through. All fields are covered in a foot of snow so ducks are feeding in standing corn. North Dakota Report Personally witnessed it from my layout blind, saw thousands heading South, and located a goose feed in excess of a mile long and by estimation 50-75,000 birds in it. The most birds I have ever seen in my life. Now I hope there are some left to pound in the fields as most water is locking up. Heading down to 2 degrees tonight and -10 degrees tomorrow.

Guy I was with told me they just started showing up in the last few days. Teal, boot lips, Greys, pintail and a few mallards and lots of snows a specks. Hope they're stacked that way SE of New Orleans this wknd...
