Ok guys I have checked everywhere I can...if yall are still interested we have a new La Quinta that is 10min from the boat ramp. It has a large parking lot, well lighted and in a safe area. We are gonna to try for the second weekend in March. The hotel will be $99 a night. Give me some responses on this and we will try to accomodate everyone the best we can.

Any out of town guys wanting to come PM me for the information for the hotel.

Ok I think I may be going at this the wrong way....there have been some replies to me about the weekend chosen. So here is how it is gonna go.

First Annual SETX Mud Run March 20-21
Lodging available at La Quinta in Bridge City, Tx $99 a night

We will meet up on Saturday March 20 at 10:00 am at Port Neches Park.

Saturday night I will host a Bar B Que and party at my house for all that attend. It will be a BYOB event.

This will be just kind of thrown together but we will improve on next years event with more time to plan.

I'm still down. I'll be coming in Saturday AM from Houston to Port Neches if anyone wants to caravan or party Friday in Houston (should you be heading East already) let me know.

Hey this is just a thought Keestan but maybe we can get the Gazeboo at the park where we will be launching and have the bar b q there that way everyone will already be there and its a good location and if anyone needs to work or do anything on there motors they can do it then. Plus its big and it'll hold everyone that comes if it happens to be a large attendance thing! Just a thought

Yea that is the bad thing about this area. With so many out of town workers in the area for these expansion projects they have jacked the price up out of the roof.

Me and keestan talked about you guys driving in that Sat. morning and just having to stay one night. There are alot of places around here that we could hang out in or at, for the guys that are not ready to go to bed that night. I will be more than happy as well as keestan and a hand full of others to bring you guys out on a night on the town for after the boat ride if that would be an option! Just throwing some thoughts out there!
