 Re: Ti's the season for bowfishing Pintail, how many batteries are you running for your lights and how long does it last? Do you run a trolling motor off the same ones?

Re: Ti's the season for bowfishing I get about 5 hours between the two. If I had two of the same battery I'd get 6 hrs maybe a Lil more. One of the batteries I have on it has a longer life than the other one, it's it's a much bigger battery

Re: Ti's the season for bowfishing You will be using 2 batteries just for the lights, or will they be running other electronics in the boat? Radios, trollers, big motor, etc?
Are the lights able to be run at 24V?

Re: Ti's the season for bowfishing Yea, my lights are 12v or 24v. I have a starting battery that I also keep a hand held q beam in just so I can spot and see ahead of me sometimes and then two other batteries for just my lights

Re: Ti's the season for bowfishing I have a starting battery for my motor and accs. I will be using 2-27 group Deep cycle batteries to run both my 12v troller and 10-27w (9v-32v) led lights.

Re: Ti's the season for bowfishing Run the batteries in parallel then, and run the lights at 12v. pos to pos, neg to neg. Nothing tricky. Just make a jumper from the pos on one batt to the pos on the other, and neg from one batt to the neg on the other.
