 Want to build a custom crawfish pot I have a few sheets of aluminum lying around as well as tons of drops from my boat builds and I'm considering making a crawfish pot, basket and burner setup. I have the standard shit that I've been using for years, but the older I get, I'm looking for easy shit.  Any of you have any good plans for a pot & basket set up that the basket hinges and dumps the crawfish. The only one that I have seen, and it was very brief, was a rectangle style that hinged and dumped them in a shoot that was connected to the pot. So what you got.

Re: Want to build a custom crawfish pot I have seen em half round also and they seem to do well.
The most practical way to do em is have a jacket around the pot that has about a 2"-3" space in between the pot and the jacket that way you don't loose any heat if y'all can understand that.
