Ain't been on in a bit guys but I know I can come here and ask fer some prayer. My lil boys 6 months old now. He's had cold after cold nearly his whole life, it's been a bad season fer that up here in the north. It got bad this past week. Took him in a few times. Finally they decided ta give him that breathing apparatus er whatever it's called. He had a bad cough and it did help his breathing but tonight he can't keep anything down and they think it could also be Pneumonia on top of whatever it is causing him ta puke. I'm at the ER now and they've been trying ta put an IV in with no success. He's gettin dehydrated and hopefully they can get this in and get him some fluids. Even then he's gotta fight through the respiratory issue too.

Leaning on y'all fer some prayers. I ain't had sleep in 48 hours nor has my kid er wife in nearly the same amount of time.

I will pray for you guys.

Do a mold test in your house. That has been known for lung problems also. Need to get you air cleaners for your house We had to do that for both my kids. These things work

Thanks all. I'll definitely get that tested. It was one of our thoughts too. He's doin ok. We left the ER at 5:30 this morn. He was able ta finally keep stuff down bout 2 last night when his fever of 103 broke. They are startin ta treat him with antibiotics specifically fer pneumonia. Hopefully it will get better soon. We were able ta get bout 3 hours of sleep and he slept fairly well too.

Thanks again y'all. This is the one forum I can rely on some good guys even though all we do is bitch bout who's MM is better.

We made it home last Sunday mornin. His temp finally broke and he started eating again. They gave him 3 rounds of antibiotics in a shot over the next 3 days. They did more tests too. Ma and son slept fer almost 24 hours straight after the entire fiasco. Monday mornin was rough as he started coughing and wouldn't stop fer 15 minutes and couldn't breath but it musta been all the crud built up after sleepin so long. They finally figured out that it is parainfluenza which is some virus kids and babies can get like a respiratory flu which lead ta croup, hence the coughing. The last couple days he's shown some improvement finally after 3-4 weeks of gettin worse and worse.

Thanks bro. It's been better. Only prob now is little guy is used ta sleepin with ma and dad can't sleep in his bed on work nights. Ma had sleep with him upright now he won't sleep on his own but better than a sick kido. Hope yer doin good too bro.

I'd take inconvenience over sick any day of the week. Glad things are better.
