Re: Mudboat offshore Ive takin my mudboat offshore , alot on calm days , not to far between 5 to 10 miles. But I also have all to safety gear to do so. Do I recommend it " No " but ive also been fishing offshore my entire Life. Does this mean I'm better off than most " HELL NO " the seas can change in the blink of an eye. I have a big offshore boat also , that we take out offshore four or five times a month. Mudboat only goes offshore if I'm on the flats fishing and the seas are calm enough for me to buzz out for a few hours to pick up a few grouper if there in season.For those of you who have there first mudboat or for boat period keep your ass in water you can wade in.lol
