Just came across this today and trying to hunt the guy down and see if he still builds them looked a quick way to deal with a large number of birds.

I use this with a hitch receiver mounted to the inside of my tail gate – lower tail gate and go at it

a buddy has the bird hitch for geese (I think it's the hammer?) works really good
