Sport Trail finished up on the trailer yesterday and I was able to swing by on my way home from work to get a look. They do outstanding work, all welded top notch custom aluminum trailers, with nothing but the best components.

The owner is picking it up today.

Hey, did you do any lofting in your preparation for fabrication? Have a table of offsets? Or did you build it by guess and by God? If you know what I'm talking about you're a dying breed and a suburb craftsman.

nice build and like that you put some shape in the bow. I have a 24x72 being built by sportsman fab now. with casey getting hurt it has slowed down but they are getting back on track. keep the pics coming as they will help with my fever.

to dguidry: u don't have to have lofting tables to get it right. look at all the custom Carolina boats we build here in outer banks . paul mann, buddy cannady, shear line, ritchie howell, etc....these are the most beautiful and badass offshore fishing boats made in the world.

The guy I built this boat for finally got hte motor hung, got some insurance on it and put it in the water for the first time this morning. He says it ran great. Ran 27 @ 3000 rpms and hit 49 @ 5000. Thinks the motor needs to move up on set of holes though, as it looked like it was getting a little spray coming off the leg. He said it was very stable and turned on a dime.
