Post Wallisville lake project
I'm new to this forum and am back home from college now and have hunted on the trinity around robs and the jungle on the north side of Livingston for about 6 years now and now that I'm back home I put in for a blind on the wallisville project. Was just seeing if anyone had any info for me on how many people usually put in for blinds and what kind of hunters you typically run into there. I know with the influx of new people to duck hunting there's a lot of frustration with people at some places. Just wondering if most people down there are courteous or if there's a lot of sky blasting and blind stealing and other nonsense like that. Any feed back is appreciated.
Thanks

Yup. 180 permits last year. I put it for 5 this year, the more permits 1 person can put out, the less people get them and better chance to get a half ass decent spot. You can always kick the people out that didnt get your spot. With all these mud boats and airboats out here + the help of google maps, theres nowhere the ducks and get away to and not feel the pressure of people. And theres not a single pond or backwater that someone dosent know about thanks to google. Although i get 5 permits, I probably wont hunt it all that much. 75% of the time its not worth it. It dosent help that a detailed map of everyones spots is posted on the internet either...
