 Cabelas layout blind
Been looking at layouts hard finally going to bite the bullet and I think the cabelas look like the best bang for the buck. Anybody have some feedback?

 Re: Cabelas layout blind
I have an ultimate from cabelas. Super comfy, but the couple of downsides are: 1) very heavy compared to the smaller blinds 2) doesn't really even fold in half. Basically fold into 2/3 the original size.
If you have to pack in a long ways, they really suck (at least the ultimate ones do). We usually drive to our spot to set up so not a big deal. It takes up a lot of room in the bed of a truck or trailer too. But...you can lay in it for hours on end, and the doors have a really nice design and it's easy to see out of and stay hidden.

If you wanna have an awesome time and maybe stay in a room where children were conceived on one side and someone got stabbed over an 8-ball on the other come on down I got a can of raid.

 Re: Cabelas layout blind
I have two blinds. One waterproof bottom (some Avery monstrosity) and one just cloth bottom (Cabelas lightweight mobile thing). Cabelas blinds are good, you won't have any issues. I have one of the lightweight ones for my non-waterproof blind and wound up using it most of the time. I really like the snap-in hooks over the pins. Makes it 100000x easier to set up with cold fingers.

I have 5 years in an Avery Finisher. Folds up great (1/4) of size. To me the lower the profile the better. That's why I chose the Finisher.

I have 4 right now. 2 cabelas, a HS Hitman, and a FA xLandr. My favorite by far is the xLandr. Too bad they don't make them anymore. Comfortable and lightweight. I tried a power Hunter and to me it's a huge piece of shit. I can't see shit out of that cockpit style hatch.

 Re: Cabelas layout blind
I recently purchased the waterproof cabelas ultimate layout and I have high hopes of it being leaps and bounds above my old blinds that weren't waterproof. I hunt with a couple guys that use these blinds and they say they are top of the line.

The power hunter isn't too bad after you cut a hole in the lid so you can see, but I really like my ghg ground force
