 Random Question Swapped out my old BB prop to a new hammer prop on my BD. Whats the deal with the prop washer that separates the back of the prop from the drive shaft housing? Everything seems to be sealed as is, but I re greased everything and installed it in between the prop and drive housing again. Just a random question....

Re: Random Question Did it have about a dozen cuts/notches in the outer edge? My old MB had one and it was a line/grass cutter to keep stuff from getting into the seals.

Re: Random Question Considering I run mostly open water it seemed in pretty good shape. It was nut, prop, washer than rear seal to drive shaft. Almost positive that washer was between the prop and drive shaft (lower unit).
