 Boat Rebuild
I came across a good deal on a boat and motor for 8k. I didn't need a motor but a friend did, so we went in together half on this boat set up. He got a GTR with 354 hrs with heads, cam, and MM exhaust. I got a 1846GT boat with a riptide trolling motor, three batteries, polling platform, with a rod box, and drivers box on a McClain galvanized trailer. I am in the middle of redoing the whole boat. I got Gator Base and Gator Glide for the bottom, adding 4in catwalks. I'm adding a console for controls, cup holder and grab bar. I'll use a cooler as a seat. New Hydro Turf for the floor, deck and catwalks. Redoing the front compartment with a flush aluminum lid. I'll be running three Dually Rigid Lights up front, two outside will be flood and center one will be spot. I'm the middle of ordering paint to repaint the whole boat cause as you can see the paint was tired. I'm excited about the modifications I'm doing to this boat and cant wait to show off the finished product. Here are a few pictures I have of it for reference.

 Re: Boat Rebuild
Looks like a good project and should have a nice out come.
Are you putting the lights in the existing light box?

 Re: Boat Rebuild
Just curious. Why not a light bar? To be able to point them how you want?

that and fog. I run the flood when its foggy and the spot with the flood when its not. plus I already had them on my previous boat and kept them when I sold it.

 Re: Boat Rebuild
I don't do this for $ I barely have time to paint my own boat much less do someone else's boat or engine. Honestly supplies to do a motor probably aint 30 bucks and takes no longer than a hour.

 Re: Boat Rebuild
If your willing to share I'd be interested to see a how to video or a description. I might like to do something similar.
Does it seem to hold up well on your motor?
