I've been wearing Carhartt and Wrangler FR jeans for work and Ariat away from work. Levi Strauss has been going down this road for a long time. It's a damn shame....

Unfortunately, you will have to give up just about everything if you decide to boycott every company that supports gay rights/anti hunting/planned parenthood etc. If you do a little research you will find that many of the companies that you use everyday are in bed with one or all of them. You will also find that a lot of them support both sides of the issues trying to keep everyone happy!

I got out of Levi's about 3 years ago. Cinch green label is the only way to go. Besides the aram ark brand jeans, those are just plain tough.

I have started collecting Duluth pants. Love the Duluthflex Dry on the fly and firehose pants. I hunt in only these now. Natural colors and tough as nails.

Their smallest pair of pants doesn't fit me for shit. I called and asked about a smaller size. They told me, well sir, these clothes are designed for working men who typically fill them out.

This thread is Exhibit "A" for why the Republican Party will (unfortunately) not sniff the White House for quite some time.

I don't suck dick. I have no desire to suck dick. And I have no desire to plow or get plowed by another dude.

But I could honestly give a flying fuck if some other guy does; it has no effect on me or my family. When it comes to social issues I'm a Libertarian: Leave me alone and let me do my thing, and I'll do the same for you.

However, what does have an effect on me is the fact that the federal and state govt's are pissing away money left and right on unnecessary spending, particulary by taxing the middle class to death to support those that don't support themselves.

It's unfortunate, but we have to realize that we are going to have to give up on some issues---like letting men blow each other in the privacy of their own homes---to hopefully avoid being taxed to the point that the liberals won't have to ban hunting and fishing because none of us will be able to afford it anyways.

The Republicans' attachment to the religious right and anti-gays is going to get them clobbered in this election and all upcoming elections because the right-wing party-line candidates that survive the primaries won't ever get elected by middle of the road, moderate folks in November. And this is coming from a guy who hunts and fishes as much if not more than 99% of the guys on here.

Figure out what's important to you when you think about how much you should really care if some guy blows another guy. Is it worth letting the Democrats walk into the White House from to eternity?

I guess I'll put it this way.

I live in South Florida. I spend a lot of time fishing in the Keys, and live in Fort Lauderdale.

Two of the biggest gay communities in the country are in Key West, and Wilton Manors, a small municipality here in Fort Lauderdale.

Along with the two gay communities, of course there are also plenty of "bad neighborhoods" with ethnicities that you can fill in the blank on, of course all on welfare and nobody working, instead slinging crack all day and waiting for their EBT cards each month.

Again, I'm not going to be the grand marshall of any gay pride parades any time soon, but I can sure as shit tell you all that the group that "bends me over on a daily basis" isn't the gays. They may bend each other over, but they don't cost me any money. The other folks, on the other hand, are putting this state and likely the country into the damn ground.

The fags keep to themselves and really just want to be left alone over in their little fairy lands where they live, and prance around on roller blades, instead of coming into my neighborhood and breaking into houses and stealing cars.

Just something to think about.
