 Reworked props
Is it worth the trouble to get a mud boat prop reworked? Or just suck it up and buy a new one to get fucked again threw duck season

I don't know yet. Should hear from them sometime this week. I think balancing is 25 but I could be wrong.

 Re: Reworked props
Welding on a prop to build up/replace wear does not last like the cast steel of a new prop in my experience. Depends on what you spend on the re-work and the amount of use you get out of it before it wears again, it may end up being more cost effective to just get a new prop.
If you run a lot of sandy areas, walking the boat out a little bit vs. digging in sand or sandy silt can save a lot of expense on replacing a prop. When I occaisionally run sandy areas, I install my spare prop - 'a sacrificial' prop so I avoid the wear on my regular prop.

 Re: Reworked props
I have my rebuilt. I have a 3 blade right now and when its time flr a new i'll buy a 2 blade and have the 3 rebuilt. Keep 3 for off season rideing and 2 for hunting. By the time that 2 blade wears out it'll be time for the 3 to go on in off season. They usually last just as long as a new one in my experience. The guy i use charges $125 for a 2 blade and $150 for a 3 blade
