 Hammer prop
Won a prop from Prodigy at the poker run last week. I asked Chad if I could try a hammer prop instead of the big blade. I got it in the mail and man its a lot heavier than gtr and big blade props. Who all is running one and how do you like it? My motor is a stage 2 gtr, should turn it fine. How's the hole shot and load carrying with the heavier prop? Thanks

 Re: Hammer prop
mine runs pretty good, I can hit the limiter at 4750 with the pin in the top hole and stay at 31mph. haven't tried middle hole yet. my boat isn't light either. The hammer hasn't been taken off yet either. Has more tiller torque than a stock 2 blade from GT.

 Re: Hammer prop
I won't run any other prop on my rig. Having said that my motor is built up and greard to turn it.
Ive run one on a gtr with heads and carb that didn't work so great.

 Re: Hammer prop
I hate tiller torque seeing as I don't have much at all with a gt or mb big blade prop. Maybe the only gtr in the history of the world that drives like a pro drive lol. If it pulls then it will probably be for sale

 Re: Hammer prop
I don't get allot of tiller torque out of mine, and is all I run. The bb won't stand up to clay and sand like hammer will. Wears so much better, almost 2 years on mine.

 Re: Hammer prop
Ive had mine for almost 2 years now Once it wears out a little it will be much better. Mine is on a stage 2 gtr as well and i dont find tiller torque to be very bad. Last time out i was running 4400 with three people.
