Post New gun for the arsenal
Figured I needed a new toy so I i pulled the trigger on this. Started witn a Ruger 10/22 carbine. Added a Tapco T6 adjustable stock, 25 round Butler Creek magazine, and a 3-9x40mm BSA scope with laser/flashlight combo. Took it to the range yesterday. Shots like a dream.

Cool. I got one last xmas that i'm slowly tricking out. I dropped in a match hammer, sear and bolt hold open lever. I plan on getting a bull barrel with houge overmolded stock. A little different direction then you but them 10/22's are fun.

That new S&W dedicated .22 ar style rifle is going to get very popular I suspect.

I got mine about 6 years ago, I replaced all the internal parts, put a new barrel on it, match grade tappered 22", i had it fluted and ported. Overmolded stock. I will say this, I put the rifle in a vise and shot it a a 50 yd target in a windless tube one day. 10 rounds, 1 hole. It was unreal. Now it is a jack rabbit killing son of a gun. Possibilites are endless for these fun 22's. The only downside, I bought it new for $180.00, i put about $400.00 bucks into it. I had to stop my self, or I would probably own a $2000 22 cal rifle. I guess it is like moding out a mud boat, once you stop, it is hard to stop.
