I know this aint the right place on this forum to ask, but a couple days ago i tried to post in the classifieds to sell a boat package. It still hasnt shown up, is it only one dude going through and apporving these things or what? I also found out who the MOD of this site is and tried to contact him through his profile but there is no available option to do that, seems this sight could use a little adjusting to become more user friendly?

I want the new tiller handle on my old motor. Gatortail should make that happen. Definitely.

I asked the same question on MMC and I was told that it "could" work but it would take some modifying.

Bahahaha in all fairness you did post that question in a really random place. Cb is a very knowledgeable person on this site but he doesnt seem to care much if he hurts someones feelings.

So where would the appropriate place be to post that question? There's no where on the site that jumps out as the right place for random ass questions, someone with common sense with a simple question to address would realize that if posted in an active thread such as this one then the question would be answered sooner than if it was posted in a dead part of the forum. Which again, goes back to my original post where cb got his panties in a bunch, the website has room for improvement. As far as feelings being hurt, if you think some key board hero with a couple smart remarks is going to hurt my feelings then you're sadly mistaken haha

How about not in the middle of someone else's thread? There isn't really a dead place on the forum..Look on active topics, posts from pretty much every forum except the events forum pop up on the view active topics tab...

Where you should have posted this question was in a pm to a mod. There is a big ol pm button right there in the guy's profile. Not too hard to find.. If you had been active here for more than a day and made more than one post, there would be nothing to talk about. That was my original point.

There is some things here that should be fixed, one of them is there should be a minimum post count to use the classifieds section. I would say 1000, but 100 would likely suffice. Most people that use the classifieds on their first post never come back to answer questions, or update the thread when their item is sold. Don't really see the point in allowing them access if they aren't going to contribute anything else to the forum..

I'm not sure makin me a mod would help your situation much. I'd leave your classified in the que indefinitely for being impatient and i would have deleted the post on this thread without a response.. You are more than welcome to forward that request along with all of your others to tony. I'm sure you are gonna be his top priority today.

Cb, can you read dude? I said in the original post that I tried to figure out how to pm a mod and didn't understand how to do it. More or less the point was to ask a simple question, the question was answered. Looks like it worked after all. Also that sounds good, I've never been the one to be the center of attention but change is good.

On another forum I moderate, you've got to have 50 posts AND 6mo membership time before you can use the classifieds. I think that would have done some good here lol.

The answer is yes. It took drilling 2 holes and trimming one side of the frame a touch but went on in about 30 mins. The brake lines and throttle cable are a little short but manageable. Bayoubuster likes drilling holes and cutting on my rig any chance he gets. WELL worth the effort to do it. I got lucky and found someone switching from tiller to a CC so I had the brake lines and throttle cable to go with it. Ill get some pics of it later if need be.
