No more spinners in Meto, Donaldson

 No more spinners in Meto, DonaldsonArkansas game and fish outlawed the use of spinning wing decoys in Dave Donaldson and Bayou Meto. Glad to see it.

Re: No more spinners in Meto, Donaldson Early season some folks will put out a bunch of spinners and kill a few ducks. They get more shy of them as the season goes on. A lot of times they are just dipping low enough for a closer look and won't finish so these folks tree top them. By mid to late season birds fly over the woods and see flashing everywhere and just say to hell with the woods and won't work them. A lot of folks think if you get rid of the spinners the birds won't get so wary of being in the woods as the season progresses and you will actually be able to work birds with woodsman ship and calling and shoot them in the face better.

Re: No more spinners in Meto, Donaldson You know everyone talks a lot of crap about mojo's but I have lit many many ducks in the decoys with multiple mojo's going. Granted I don't use them later in the year and if I think they are flaring off of it I will go turn it off. But it is not the duck flaring machine that all the old people try to pass it off to be. It's just people can't call and use the same ugly decoy spread day after day and then try to throw out 8 mojo's in hopes of it compensating for their lack of hunting ability. It's just another tool in the toolbox, nothing magical.

But yeah I mean I would be okay with banning it across the board, make you work for the ducks a little more. But as long as it's legal I'll still use it because they are effective. Either way it doesn't matter to me I'm still going to kill ducks.. lol
