Mud buddy hd45 front seal

 Mud buddy hd45 front sealSo my front seal is blown I have a new one and bearings. I just am not sure how to replace them. Do I have to pull the front gear to get the shaft out?

Re: Mud buddy hd45 front seal Yes, but you shouldnt have to use a puller. Give it a tap or two with a hammer and punch if the bolts don't drive it off the taper lock.

Re: Mud buddy hd45 front seal So I have every thing off. The race down by the prop. Now what? I have the seal by the gear out. I can't figure out what else to do. It looks like the bearing on the prop side should come right out. I appreciate this forum a bunch you guys are very helpful.

Re: Mud buddy hd45 front seal Ive never seen bearing/seal replacement instructions from MB. Gatortrax has videos on how to take apart one and put back together. Nothing covers the actual lower unit breakdown.
