 advice on successful 25 hp kohler mods? first timer needing I have a 25hp gdlt I'm not happt with the performance of, cam anyone help out with advice for getting more out of it

Re: advice on successful 25 hp kohler mods? first timer need A good valve job with port cleanup, usally cleans up an old one. Common is a timing bump. Options are deck heads and shim rockers to set lash. For cam / carb upgades try lakota racing. Have you adjusted your gov up yet? You prob need a leakdown test done and a cam check.

Re: advice on successful 25 hp kohler mods? first timer need Where should I have my governor set at? And for an intake for a bigger carb do I need the 2 barrel intake? Does an exhaust or velocity stack with a k&n help?
