Just a heads up, remington doubled their rebate on nitro and hypersonics for 10 days starting today. $100 off per case. Limit 2 cases or $200 per customer.

Rogers has nitro 3" 1 1/4 1450 for $169.99 before rebate. Also 1 3/8 for 189.99 and 2.75" 1 1/4 for 169.99. No tax and free shipping. The rebate has to be handled thru Remington.

Not often you can get a case of premium steel for $70.

Rogers says they are now completely out of Remington Steel. That didn't take long. Rebate still comes from Remington so maybe ya'll can find another supplier that offered the same as Rogers.

I grabbed me 2 cases. There are a few other retailers with decent pricing, but not as good as Rogers.

has 3" 1 1/4 for ~$183/case (w/free shipping). They have a pretty decent selection of other sizes and loads as well. Not quite as strong as Roger's, but $8.30/box for premium steel shot is still a great buy. I pay more than than for the Federal blue box.

has anyone dealt with Remington's rebate department. I just got my case in from Rogers and was wondering if i had to cut every single box to send the upcs in or if they would accept just the upc from the case. Their rebate site is only showing the upc for the individual boxes.

Rebate form says it needs the upc from each box. The upc's on mine were just stickers. I took a hair dryer to mine and stuck them on a piece of printer paper.

I also got 2 cases. First 10 I used a razor blade to pull em off. 2nd case just cut out a square of the cardboard. It's a pain

I cut the bar code off the cardboard case for my heavyshot rebate. Seems like the easiest way to me.

Heavishot is fine with that. Rebate form for Remington wants each box.

Just called the rebate center...they confirmed...for nitro steel, from each individual box.

I took a razor blade and cut around the UPC, and the cardboard would separate into 2 pieces and not leave a hole in the bottom of the box. I put a strip of packing tape across the bottom afterwards. Took about 15 minutes at the most for 2 case.

The hair dryer trick worked like a champ! 20 UPC's came up pretty quick. Just took them off the bottom of the box and re-pasted them to a blank sheet of paper.

Mine has been recieved, not processed, or shipped. They take forever though.

Figure minimum 3 months, with average being closer to 6. Tends to be standard rebate turnaround time. Computer parts, shells, decoys, auto parts.

Haven't gotten mine, yet.

I don't hold my breath on shell rebates - the one I did for Winchester AA shells this last summer took almost 5 months, just in time for Xmas

Long as I get it at some point, I don't care. I do them several times a year, not on shells, but other stuff. Don't remember ever being stiffed. Just have to make sure you make their post mark dates, and follow the instructions to the T. They will deny them for any possible reason you give them.

Mine says they still havent recieved it.... I sent it in around the 2 Dec (thats going online). I registered my info, printed out the tracking label thing and then sent in my 20 UPCs....

I sent mine in around the second week of December and it hasn't hit the status-now.com website.

However, when I logged in, I saw two $100 rebate checks in my name that I didn't receive on Garmin EchoMap units that were sent out in September. I had totally forgotten about them.

After speaking with the rebate center they sent me two new checks. It was like putting on a pair of pants and finding two $100 bills.

The people at the rebate center very very helpful and said it takes about 30 days to upload the status to the website.

Got half of mine. Ordered two flats and they split the rebate into two $100 checks for some reason. First check never made it to my mailbox but the next one showed up a week later. Called the rebate center and they are reissuing the first check.

Hunting buddy ordered two flats and received a single check for $200 back. Both of our rebates were submitted in late November.

Got my full $200 rebate check in the mail yesterday. Damn, I had forgotten about it too. Now its time to go spend that before I forget about it again.
