Post ? For the Louisiana guys
I came across a restaurant off hwy 90 between Morgan City and New Orleans a few years back that had the best grawfish I've ever bought.I just can't remember the name. The place had a small parking lot in front with a gravel lot in back you could go in the left side and buy bugs corn potatoes beer and there boil mixture the right side was the restaurant.Im thinking it had a yellow owning on the front.Does anyone have any idea the name and town really would like to get back down there

There lots of restaurants between Morgan City and New Orleans. Can you be more specific.

For those familiar with the area, he gave a pretty good description. Can't be that many oriented like that with a yellow awning.

Did you turn directly off 90 into the parking lot, or did you have to take an exit? That narrows it down some. 90 is set up like an interstate until you get on the East side of the LA 1 exit. If you didn't have to take an exit, it would have to be somewhere between LA 1 and New Orleans. How did you get into new Orleans? did you Take the lulling bridge, Huey P, or Greater N.O bridge? That will narrow it down also. I'm assuming you crossed the 310 bridge since it is the easiest way to get to N.O. Then it would have to be between La 1 and 310.

Could have been Badeaux's at the foot of the Des Allemands bridge. I've never been there, but it kind of fits your description.

Sounds to me like you're talking about Zydeco's.

But I don't remember their crawfish being that great.

But yes, you can buy the seasoning there too.
and I think they had a yellow awning too lol

Thanks for the replies sorry for not responding back for so long been chasing cold fronts trying to find ducks about 3000 miles in the last few weeks.I did have to take an exit. From memory I think it was a metal building the restaurant side had a bar on the right side wall at the back of the bar they was hosing down oysters . there was barely room to walk between tables.the restaurant was probably only 25 to 30 feet wide.
