But to trim down!
Trim motor down n jack up where in theory prop should lift an push hull at same time for shallow hard bottoms...

I'm not investing in it just fuel for thought..

It's not a crazy idea....I've thought about it myself....along with tunnel hulls and catamaran hull ideas.

But, for the jack plate,the gains are probably not worth the cost and added weight. Additionally, the trim ram on a PD would probably be in the way. I'm sure somebody has tried it by now...but, for the cost, people would probably rather drop a cam in, deck the heads or buy a carb or exhaust.

Yea I did a stage 2 but once my skeg hits bottom I bounce to a stop in 4" of water boat floating but can't get skeg out of water with enough prop to accomplish anything... a wider boat in my theory it would help pick up bottom to hover alomost...but you would need alot of lift from a jack plate

I've seen Jack plates on bigger dual rigs, I'm guessing has something to do with boat being loaded down?

Terry had hack plates on his dual gatortail rig for that reason I believe. No sure he gets on here much anymore.

He had a Yeti tumbler in every cup holder with a different flavor latte in every one last time I saw it.

WC will put a keurig under the console for the more sophisticated types.

I have yet to see the Jack plates on any rig, figured someone on here has done it..

I could see an advantage, in pudding, on a prodrive......but thats the one it prolly wouldnt fit. Thats the one that blows out because ots a short drive, and thays the one that dont need no extra weight back there.
Its been tried before, i guarooontee.

Prodrive will most likely rip the trim ram off the mount

Idk about the jack plates, but once I am set up and can build my boat, I am going to build a 20' flat bottom catamaran with 2' wide pontoons and a 2' air gap in the middle with twin modded gtr's..either a flush deck of maybe a 6'' side rail.. haven't fully decided. super stable, low draft, superior load carrying capability, and fuel efficient.. tanks made into hull..etc. Working on a set of electric controls for it too.. no flipping switches and shit to reverse.
