You sold it to him for a price you felt was fair, he thinks it's worth more and trying to get that. Don't see anything wrong with that unless there is more to the story.

He was supposed to have given me 16K but I screwed up and didn't count it properly. Like I said my bad. It was the way he handled it later that made me not like the guy. He bragged on how he burnt and how he'd burn the guy he sold it to. I have had 6 -7.3 trucks now and just bought a F350 4x4 7.3 with 54 K miles on it for 20K. I just sold another with 137K miles for 19K. That excursion is 2WD and is worth about 16K.

I emailed him and asked him if it was the one he just purchased less thatn a year ago for $16K but only handed the guy selling $15k! We shall see what his response is.

KBB says the thing is only worth $12,369 private party in very good condition...

if that thing was 4x4 it would be sweet. but still not worth 22 or even 15.... i can find them all around me for less than 15k with 4x4.

I loved all my 7.3s. Them and my 300 6 cylinders where the most dependable motors and trucks ever. They just keep running and the running gear under the f350 just keeps going. Have had to rebuild a few transmissions but never under 2 or 3 hundred thousand miles. Buddy of mine is pushing 700k on his and won't sell it. I just like the truck.
