Question? We have considered doing the pointed bow as part of the boat like we do with our V bows also. Our biggest reservation is that the half pipe pointed bow is extremely strong (1/4" half pipe) we hate to go away from something that can take a full speed front impact with no damage to the boat. Do you think this design is as strong as the half pipe? Is it reinforced behind the bow to hold up like a half pipe?

Just wondering.

I think i would rather take a hit with a pointed bow than a sq. It seems you would have less a sq. impack more of a ricochet!! But to answer you ? their is pipe in the front end.. With all the alum. up their to make it it is strong as shit!!

Thanks for the reply, we do make a pointed bow option just like most everyone else, difference is it is added to the square front so the front is really a double front. I looked closer at the pictures and see that the roll is a half pipe so it looks pretty tough, good looking boat. I only asked because we have all seen some other brands that have really pretty fronts made of just .100 or .125 bent aluminum and they look really nice...............

................until you actually hit something. :o  :o

Nice work guys.

No, here's a question for you. Do you think that the way Gator Tail runs the stringers is the most structuraly sound? Good God, you take the spine of the hull and weaken it IMO.

Hey, I'm lookin to buy a new hull and am doing all the research I can .So don't ask me questions sell me the product and tell me why an infearior design is some how stronger!
