I saw a commercial, looked like the only thing that had changed was Troy Landry's shirt.....finally.

There are only so many ways you can shoot an alligator in a quarter sized kill spot....while it's on a hook.

I haven't watched it in a long time. To much BS.

I watch it, I like looking at the places, I may want to go check out. But they will be using a motor and ten minutes later they have a different motor on the boat. Or they over exaggerate everything on that show. If I hear one more time on any of these reality tv programs that "I gotta do what I gotta do to feed my family" I hardly ever hear anyone that is employed with a family say that. But they say it on these shows like it means something LOL

They ought to have a spin off show and just follow Glen Guice around.

Wicked tuner was on so that means no swamp people for me.

It's always such a nail biter when someone almost dies before EVERY commercial.

Me and my family are from down there. To us is just some more regular people who chose to hunt alligators for a living instead of working a job at an established business. To everyone up here, that show is a bunch of brave creole people, risking their lives doing the only job available, which is super dangerous, in order to barely scrape by and feed their families. Most people don't pay much attention to the new boats and motors they run every year.

It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face.

I watched an episode the other day and they acted like the Landrys took over a fella name Jr's lease so they had more tags to fill..
Think they actually lease some of that water? Looked plenty navigable to me

well, I have hunted alligators before.. and it is nothing like they make it out to be. they make it look stupid for TV. And yeah after I met Troy and realized he is one Rich "SOB" I was done. RJ and Jay Paul.. same crap.. just makes us folks from south of HWY 90 look like some ignorant ass people who chase 6' 900lb alligators off our porches everyday...

I'd like to thank the good ole folks at the discovery channel for ending this shenanigans once and for all.

It's awesome how they show up at a line in one boat and leave the line in another boat. Sometimes they show up to one line in nothing but sun a no wind and the next line around the bend it is cloudy and windy. It takes some real talent to pull off that magic.

The only good thing that has come out of it is higher demand for louisiana product"gators". I heard from a friend that owns multiple farms that after the show started alligator meat demand tripled and the price reflected also.. Alligator skins have always been sent overseas to buyers such as polo Ralph Lauren, Gucci, and dolchi and gabbna.. But it seems domestic demand has risen.. So in a messed up way the tree shakers and line breakers have helped our local economic growth; but they surely have could have done without the stupidity lmao

And yeah I think (personal opinion) that ole jean overall shirtless Bruce is probably the only real deal.. Also probably helped out our mud motor manufacturers as their motors where featured on the shows..

I loved how the Indians were keeping rotten nutria in a brand new Yeti and talking about how hardcore they were for not using store bought chicken.

I hunted gators for 5 years, before the bottom fell out of it! That show pretty much is a joke! My momma calls it the "dumbing down of Louisiana folk"!!!
