Not doing nearly as much inshore and offshore fishing as id like.
I shoot competition pistol and got tied up on the club committee.
Reloading and Renovating houses
But what I really like doing is introducing new shooters to the sport.
Nothing makes me happier than some sexy wee soccer mum who thinks she's going to hate pistols shooting a tighter group than me on her first outing.
And my kids, have 3 of the little buggers, they're fun.

Re: Other Hobbies? I'd be down for fly fishing. Around here I only get to hook bass or bream. In the summer we can catch big Carp on white fluffy flies that look like cotton from a cottonwood tree.
It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face.

Re: Other Hobbies? Used to fly fish a lot when i lived out west. Fished some of the prettiest water you could imagine. Flished a few times down here in the marsh for reds. Fly fished for Roosters and Stripers down in Cabo. One of the most fun things I've ever done with a fly rod was blackfin behind shrimp boats. ABSOLUTELY UNREAL. 10-15lb blackfin all stirred up, piling on flies.

Re: Other Hobbies? Well this time of year I'm busy with baseball and volleyball with the kids. But on the few off days were catching snook, reds, specks and cats. But work and the other stuff keeps us busy 6 ot of the 7 days. But we still manage to put put some meat in the freezer.

Re: Other Hobbies? All mine are 5 weight rods. I have a couple 7s that I've never used. I bought them for flats fishing and mangrove snapper when I go to the keys

Re: Other Hobbies? BT, I'd be all in on a fishing trip. I have a 5wt and an 8wt. Trout, smallmouth, carp (poor man's bonefish), reds, whatever.
That rooster fish is on the bucket list! Weirdest catch to date were a bunch of almaco jacks on clousers. Also caught a bunch of chicken dauphins. Good stuff.
