 Must have items on your boat. Hey guys. What are some of the things that you don't leave the ramp without? Trying to get some new ideas for those "man if we only had a ______" moments.

Re: Must have items on your boat. Like Russ said, there's a couple of threads that go into great detail about this. I've saved my own ass many times with a leatherman, 3/4" socket driver, and a spare prop.

Re: Must have items on your boat. You have to bring a roll of toilet paper! Never leave the ramp without it in my dry box. Carry as many tools as you can fit in there as well.

Re: Must have items on your boat. We had a ride and someone ended up with water in their engine.... between 3 or 4 boats, we gathered up enough oil to pull his plugs, spin motor over, change oil and got him back to running. So I'd a say a couple quarts of oil is not a bad thing.

Re: Must have items on your boat. Super glue gel, I had the nipple break off on the primer bulb and didn't have a spare bulb, welded it back on with that shit and it held for months. I put a spare bulb in the boat but kept running the other one just to see how long it would last. Super glue gel works awesome if you get cut real bad too.

Re: Must have items on your boat. I keep a ditch bag with survival gear in a waterproof bag.
Basic toolkit, jumper cables (I run 2 batteries), plenty of rope, spare light, winch, plenty of bug spray and sunscreen, extra beer coozies, and an extra plug.
