I just told bandedmallard to quit holding the rain and send it this way. We need some, maybe not that much though. Yall hold it down and stay floating.

Yeah, put out some grass seed saturday. Wasn't paying attention to the 8+ inches of rain in monsoon format we were going to get. :/

Brandon, I made it from minden. Had to park at the church right before the house and hitch a ride. Got lucky his son was coming to get him and he offered to drop me off. That mile walk in the pouring rain was about to suck. Glad I live on a hill. Where'd you get caught up?

That creek between me and the church is a bitch, and that first bottom on 151 isn't any better, so no way around it. I'm at the house if you get bored. Just call before you stop by.

That picture with the cop in it, the left side is Cheniere lake and about as far as you can see is the spillway. On the right is the drainage to the river.

The river is liable to flood if we get a lot more rain.

The Ouachita came up 10' in about 24 hours, that's insane!

Our camp on Lake D'Arbonne is liable to go under, expecting a record crest up there, water is about level on both sides of the spillway.

We had to take my buddy's rig out to a place yesterday and let a woman take pictures of her place. It's a dam shame at all the flooded houses around here.
