 Advantage Mud Motor Kit
Anyone have experience with these surface drive kits? They seem to be built decent from the looks of it. I don't do any mud runs or anything but we do run a lot of cabbage that swallows outboards and I'm looking to go a different route at a very reasonable price. Looking at running the 22hp predator motor on a 1448 flat front rivited.

Search. Oh, and search. And btw, search. There's some guy that has one, says it's great, but no one else.

 Re: Advantage Mud Motor Kit
Oh, almost forgot. If you aren't willing to search the site for posts other people have made concerning this motor, go buy one. Then you can post information about it that no other newbies will read later, therefore negating the effort you make to inform people.

 Re: Advantage Mud Motor Kit
Hey Russ. Not sure if your calling me a newbie but I've been in this site a hell of a lot longer then you. But thanks for all the great info. Next time don't even go through the effort if you have nothing constructive to add. That's what's wrong with forums now a days. Nobody is willing help they just sit behind their computer and be ass hats. Wish the forums would be like they used to be, actually helpful.
And btw I did a search but didn't really find anything but apparently asking again just in case someone got one and didn't do a post isn't kosher.
Thanks again for everything!!!!

 Re: Advantage Mud Motor Kit
So, a couple months ago when the guy asked the same question as you and got few responses, you figured a lot has changed since then? And the guy earlier in the year that loves his? Both within 7 month time span, neither with details. Might have better luck sending them a pm, and chatting about their experience or what they've learned since neither has posted anything since their respective threads. Oh, and there was a guy that seemed to be in sales for them or prostaff. Pushing them but not giving much info. Think he posted about a month ago. But you've been here, so you already know about those posts. Total ass and asshat in the same day for not helping. It's been a good day.
