 bow too high on jon boat
got a good deal on a 1236 with a 9.9hp Nissan runs great with 2 people in boat but by myself the bow is too high I have motor trimmed down as far as it will go.
has anybody tried wedges on transom to add more negative tilt to correct issue ?

The product of a short boat with little planing surface... Shims may help but so will putting fuel and whatever weight you can up front.
