Anyone running a prop different than a Go Devil prop on their SD? Brands, Pros, Cons, see any performance issue over stock prop?

I'm slowly working on some prop stuff for my BB GDSD. The problem with using any other brands' prop is the angle the shaft enters the water with. It changes a lot and the prop needs different characteristics to operate efficiently at such angles.

For now I'd recommend finding a prop shop to tweak your stock prop to your needs. I'm assuming you're running the stock 2 blade?

Stock 3 blade. 11x12, just wanting something that'll push a load better.

Have a little pitch taken out of the stock prop and add some cup on the last 20% or so of the blade and you should handle a load a little better and maintain RPM. Slightly sharpening the blades helps also. Not razor sharp, but making the entry point into the water a little thinner. Just makes it easier for the engine to turn it.

A little goes a long way with any prop adjustments.

I have a worked 3 blade 11x12 and a worked big blade for my 23 GDSD.
The 3 blade is better in the top end, big blade pushes a load better and lost about 1 mph on the top end.
