 Odd leak..???? Boss drive 37 efi. Leaking what appears to be lower unit oil from odd location. WTF!!!

Re: Odd leak..???? That hole is threaded. Idk if there was something ever in there or not. But it leaking around the edges not the hole

Re: Odd leak..???? I would guess heated up grease as that appears to be the pivot tower for the motor. I would guess the seal may be getting not so efficient.

Re: Odd leak..???? Ok. Yes. I did not know what to call it but it is the pivot tower. And the lower seal does seem to be insufficient. It doesn't seem like grease tho. It's very liquid like lower unit oil. Does the oil from lower unit translate to the pivot tower???
