Re: Warranty on Gatortail lower unit I like to deal with the manufacturers directly. Nothing against a dealer. I just get a little concerned that you won't get the same service from them.
I don't recall hearing anyone complaining about the service at GTR. They seem to always make it right

Re: Warranty on Gatortail lower unit I know this thread is a couple months old but within the last month.5 I had a conversation with Hoyt regarding props that led to a conversation about the lower. They know that the cast lower wont "handle" the vibration of a two blade prop and that it will potentially cause the lower to fail....but they do offer the older style lower at the tune of roughly $800.

If it aint broke, don't fix it!
i hope your guys with issues get sorted out with the labor charges....
