Uncle J Custom 19x54 Skiff--update
MM Brand: Horsepower:2011 35GTR Stage 1 Boat Brand: Uncle J Custom Boat Size:19x54 Boat Layout: CC, 24" sides, 3/16" bottom
Speeds | Shallow Water: N/A Speeds | Deep Water: 29.6 @ 3800 Total Boat Load With Gear: Me-192lbs, dog 18lbs, 10 gal fuel, 1 battery Conditions Tested In: open river slight current with 10-15 mph wind
Comments: Day 1 MB 3 blade 12.3x9 deep water speed best 29.6 at 3800 rpms, maintained 25-27 in turns. motor set in middle hole(only has 3) Felt bow light when wfo and trimmed up, slides in turns wfo, but backing off throttle it doesn't slide near as bad. boat felt best at 23-25 mph @ 3200 rpms. Trim stopped working on 2nd run(damn 40amp breaker).
Day2 Prop-Hammer Time dropped motor to bottom hole, seemed like it do not slide as much load-me 192 lbs, 88 yr old dad 238lbs, 2-20 lbs dog, 15 gal fuel(damn big tank, probably gonna hold over 20gal.) deep water, up river against the wind-30.5 @ 3800rpms then found a sweet spot in the trim 30.8 bumping 31@3900 easy cruising speed 22-24 @ 3100 rpms

Re: Uncle J Custom 19x54 Skiff
Yeah I thought running Big, Little, and Black Cypress, all the way from Jefferson to Caddo, wanted something that would slide off them trees during those OH SHIT moments!

Re: Uncle J Custom 19x54 Skiff--update
UPDATE: Hunting back of Lake O' Pines(stumps everywhere), either the owl shit on the bottom of hull, the flatness, the longitude ribs, 3/16 bottom, or all the above-- sliding right off the stumps, very few slide to stern and hit the prop. Loving it, but the sandy mud is hell on a prop! Have yet to hang up on one.
