Post Electric fuel pump vs stock after mods..
Lf knowledge.. Have to make the decision to install new electric fuel pump or try stock mechanical pump.. Do you absolutely have to run an E-pump with certain mods? Specifically asking regarding delta's evt style intake.. I didn't want to drill and install the E-pump if it wasn't necessary..

2013 CDI GTR 35 with delta intake, flat top pistons, pp heads, sw exhaust, mikuni carb..

e pump isn't necessary. I prefer it, myself, but the stock pump will handle mods no prpblem.

Nope. The intake is just a small piece of the puzzle, and there are plenty of highly modded engines running the stock mechanical or vacuum pump without needing an electric. If running that intake requires an e-pump, you're the first to have brought it up here.

Educate me. Why do those style intakes not work with the vacuum pump? Not being ornery. Never seen one in person to have to figure it out.

That's what I'm trying to run.. a new delta (copy of the old evt).. I have a 12v ready for install.. just have no idea why you HAVE to run the 12v feul pump.. What's the reason the stock vacuum pump wont work?
