 Push button start switch conversion.
Has anyone here swapped the key out for a push button starter switch? I am not a fan of the key, would love a plug and play conversion.
Thanks for the feedback.

Re: Push button start switch conversion.
The keyswitch does more than just activate the starter. You can do what you want to do, but you'd also need a toggle switch to turn on the ignition circuit (if necessary), and a switch to ground the kill wire when you want to shut down. You could rig this up with a relay, and accomplish this with one extra switch, but don't really understand the benefit of doing all that.

Re: Push button start switch conversion.
I’ve done all that. I have momentary push button start, a momentary push button kill, and a remote trim in a control box mounted on my grab bar. I like the set up much better than everything mounted on the tiller handle.
