Mud Skipper Twister ?s
Hello I'm new here and looking into buying my first mud motor so I'm looking for some advise and had some questions. I was looking at the Mud Skipper Twister light weight. It is going on my boat which is a fiberglass 14' 40 in wide overgrown kayak or canoe with a square stern. The boat is about 120 lbs and is flat bottomed. The lightweight twister has an aluminum prop and no cavitation plate available but it is about 12 lbs lighter then the standard Twister. I guess my thought right now was with such a light/ small boat I should try and reduce any amount of weight I could. But due to my inexperience I wonder if I am wrong or if I should go for the kit with the plate and the stainless prop. Also is there anything I should be concerned with running a motor like the Twister on a boat like mine.
