What's your dream set-up?
Time to start thinking about a new rig. Been looking at the Freedom and Boss Hoss motors but haven't really seen enough reviews or experience with them to drop that kind of coin without knowing what I'm getting into. Anyone running one of them? I gotta have Reverse and 17-18 x 54 minimum hull size. What would be your dream hull and motor set-up?

The one you like and fits your needs! The most for the least $$$$$!!!!
I like my boat, when? I repower it, mostly likely - 37EFI GTRXD or PD with Kawi power.

Re: What's your dream set-up?
No CC for me. Just takes up floor space and gets in the way of the blind. I have a CC jet sled right now and if I ever get another one, I will go with one of the larger outboard tillers like many of the guides in the area have done as it dramatically increases your usable floor space. Really curious what people think is the best hull and motor out there right now and why.

Re: What's your dream set-up?
It took me a long time to have my dream rig. It is the boat I have now. 2066 Prodigy CC dual with with delta level 3 XD’s. Walks, decks, and everything else I could dream up. It has 8 degrees of V that carries from bow to stern. I mainly fish skinny hard bottom water for reds and trout so the V makes for a smooth and dry ride.

Re: What's your dream set-up?
Just ordered it. 20/54 WC boat....not decided on motor yet though. Waiting to see what the new motor this year brings. It was either going to be 37 efi mud buddy or GRT. But will wait and see what the new 40 efi looks like. Hand tiller with open layout but with enough storage for the essentials. 3/16 bottom and 1/8 sides. True mud hull but with the nose pointed to get to 20ft (no flotation) Hunt deck with an added smaller step to really help step in boat as we sometimes are in water up to our crotch.
Will fish for the meat species only. If I need to bass fish I'll go with a buddy.
