1754 Timber Creek with Delta GTRXD
Ive had my boat since November so Ill post a review. Its a 1754 TCB with a v rake, rod box on one side, catwalk with shelf on the other, 12gal fuel cell. Pretty simple. The motor is a level 3.5 Delta GTRXD. Im impressed with tge whole package.
The boat is built very well with a lot of attention to detail. The paint is holding up great, especially for what ive put it through. The welds look great, and they’re holding up perfect. Ive beat the shit out of this boat and I cant hurt it. The fit and finish of the hatches and everything are great too.
The motor is bad ass. Delta seems to have a solid reputation so I don’t think I need to say anything about it. Its a strong motor and it starts and idles awesome, even in single digit temps. Ive beat the motor just as much as the boat and it just takes it and keeps going.
The trailer is good too.
As far as performance, its solid. Im very happy with it. With the stock 3 blade (that was worked) could run 35 light and 30 with 4 people and hunting gear. That wasn’t bad but reverse and thick mud performance wasn’t great. It still pushed the boat through everything. I have yet to get stuck beyond the boat getting itself out. I went with the new Gator Tail 2 blade recently though. That prop woke this bitch up. The holeshot and reverse performance is awesome. Haven’t run with a heavy load with it yet. It gets to the rev limiter a lot easier now so I imagine it will be a beast with a load too.
Overall I’m very happy with it. Took a little longer than originally expected to get it but Tyler was good to work with and did a lot of small custom things I wanted. Once he started the build, I talked to him almost every day.

Good looking rig man- looks like a combo Excel and Prodigy design.

Change the prop to a merc 3 blade and you will see better numbers.

I doubt Ill ever go back to a 3 blade prop. Im running low to mid 30s with that new 2 blade Power Tech from GT and the holeshot is so much better. 30 is plenty fast for me to cruise. Id rather have the load carrying power and holeshot all day.
