 Delta GTRXD Prop
I have a level 3.5 Delta GTRXD on a 1754 Timber Creek. It has the stock prop that Delta worked right now. I want to try a 2 blade but not sure what one to get. Delta doesn’t sell worked 2 blades anymore so a big blade or a hammer i guess are my only options. I turn 4700-4900 rpm no matter what load is in the boat. Tyler at Timber Creek told me i coukd get a 2 blade worked by someone else too. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 Re: Delta GTRXD Prop
I have a worked big blade from laprop with more pitch, tad more cup, and he played with the rake some to drop the bow (my boat needed that). On a stage 3 with a 48T lower gear on a gtr. It runs very well. Jumps out of the hole, carry 5 without issue around 24 now (it's worn some). I could probably get more speed and lose some of the load carrying, but top speed isn't a concern.

 Re: Delta GTRXD Prop
Get baggy to true up the hammer, got one from prodigy. Just him trueing it was worth it, I prefer hammer because it just lasts longer ion sand or clay

 Re: Delta GTRXD Prop
Thanks for the replies. I called Delta to order a prop and they really suggested Gator Tails new 2 blade. From what I understand its a Power Tech. Jamie at Delta said they had good reviews. I just ran it this morning and the difference in holeshot and reverse is awesome. I only lost 1 mph top end. Still runs 33-34 and gets to the rev limiter a lot easier. I had a relatively light load today. I am looking forward to running it with 4 people in it and seeing what it will do.

 Re: Delta GTRXD Prop
Anyone run the new GT prop with heavy loads yet?
Doing delta level 3 on my XD uncle J 1854 to help push my hunt loads and Jamie recommended the same prop to me too

 Re: Delta GTRXD Prop
Running the new GT prop on my big block 25 seen maybe 1 to 2 mph increase, seen some difference in reverse and improvement in load carrying, worth the buy just my .02 cents.

 Re: Delta GTRXD Prop
Baggy in Houma does the best prop work I've ever found. My buddy got him to work the GTR 37 XD 3 blade that came with his motor. He went from 28mph in an 18x60 to 32 after baggy worked it. Only mods he had was a voodoo. Baggy is super nice too and is able to answer any questions you may have. Getting him to work my merc 3 blade and my stock 3 black from gatortail next month. I asked him about 2 blades the last time I went there and he said the GTR 2 blade was excellent and said the hammer was excellent as well. The hammer he showed me looks like a prop off of a small battleship, so I'm sure it will last long. The GTR prop looks well made too, just not as robust as the hammer.

 Re: Delta GTRXD Prop
You can get them on prodigys website I believe bro. Also, looking into the gatortail XD fatblade. I have one and I love it. I'm getting it worked soon. Unworked it runs 30 at 4500 with a load. It's a massive prop like the hammer and according to baggy, after some work, it performs like a big blade or hammer.
