 Big blade or hammer??? Running a 40 GTR with exhaust and intake. Turns a worked 12 pitch merc 3 blade at 4600rpms at 35mph with just me in the boat. Thoughts as to what two blade would be best for me and what has worked for y'all. I get all my props worked, so that will be taken into consideration as well.

Re: Big blade or hammer??? I'm running a worked hammer by baggy, awesome props for wear and load carrying. Big blade is the faster prop but not as durable.

Re: Big blade or hammer??? If you're running a 40 you can. A 37 efi or a modded 35 can as well.

Re: Big blade or hammer??? I have not and I'd be curious to know more. Regardless, give a big blade a try and worst case, get baggy to work it a little more and you'll have yourself something nice.
