 1648 Alweld Project!!!!
Picked up a 1648 Alweld hull for super cheap "$500". Got the hull home and was just gonna fix a few small things slap a motor on it and go...... boy was I wrong! Stripped down the hull and pulled all the foam out and welded up the cracks and banged out a few dents. Now time to build it back up, here is the outline for the build, Plan on running either a 60/40 jet or a 37EFI GT. What yall think?

 Re: 1648 Alweld Project!!!!
Been running that boat for ten years with the 36 Prodrive. No big issues, but would suggest a tall transom and transom support
